The Wu Fong Golf Course reigns as one of the finest and most eco-friendly public golf courses in the nation and is located just minutes from downtown Taichung. Immaculate greens, incomparable weather, and dramatic views make the Wu Fong Golf Course one of the most liked tournament venues year round.
The TLPGA Heritage Series were excited to apply the pro-junior system, in which the pros are playing with the amateurs and the juniors in the same group, creating an easy interaction for the “heritage” between the experienced and the future hopes, for which the series of events are named. The concept is also one of the main focuses for the TLPGA on the nurturing of the young talents.
Over the past few years the TLPGA has been giving its best efforts to be included in WWGR --- to seek recognition of the world ranking points as other member tours. In the 2013 calendar, the TLPGA had shown its greatest ambitions ever and released the official schedule with up to a total of 20 events, including 5 pro-junior tournaments and 13 professional tournaments (5 co-sanctioned with LAGT, 1 co-sanctioned with KLPGT, and the Sunrise LPGA Taiwan Championship sanctioned with GAROC and USLPGA). |
