On Tuesday, the Heritage Tour will be returning to Kuan-Hsi, Hsinchu at the Suncity Golf Club. A local field of 103 players, including 60 amateurs, will be playing for a purse of NT$600,000 with a top cash prize of NT$71,000 up for grabs. Liu Shu-Yin (劉書吟) will be defending her title here.
The YTS Technology invested in the construction of the Suncity Golf Club in 1988. The heavenly layout, set at 6,067 yards long in this week’s competition, will be hosting the 36-hole event for the second consecutive year. The YTS Technology and the Suncity Golf Club are the co-title-sponsor.

The TLPGA Heritage Series applies the pro-junior system, in which the TLPGA pros are grouped with amateurs and junior golfers, with an aim to provide a platform for closer interaction between the experienced and the young prospects. Besides Group Professionals, Group Amateurs of Women’s 16-25 (15-player), Boys’/Girls’ 12-16 (10/11-player), and Juniors’ 8-12 (12-player) and 9 pro-test participants will also be in action.
First-round play will be starting at 6:30 in the morning from the first and tenth tees. The final group will be sent off at 8:35. There will be no cut in this event. |
