2017 ICTSI Champion Tour Ladies golf first stage today (Mar.10) playing final round at Splendido Taal Golf Club in South Philippines, 18-year-old Thailand player Kanphanitnan MUANGKHUMSAKUL reverse the game by eagle and birdies in the last 9 holes, she made 69 total 1-under-par 215 came from behind to win the title, as well as US$15,000.

“I’m so glad I made It.” Said Kanphanitnan, this is her first win at Philippines Tour.

Saso Yuka won the amateur champion by 221, her score could ranked at 7th among professional players.

Kanphanitnan made 1 birdie and 2 bogeys in the front nine holes, suddenly made an eagle at hole 10, soon made 2 birdies at hole 15 & 17. She left all the competitors behind, won the title by two strokes lead.

Titiya PLUCKSATAPORN was leading the game by 3 shots against Kanpahnitnan, but she made 74 today total 217, shared the second place with Pualine Del Rosario.

Hsin-Ning YEH had 4 bogeys in the first half holes, 2 birdies and 1 bogey in the last 9, made 75 today total 5-over-par 221, tied 7th with Saso Yuka that was the best performance among Taiwan players.

YEH said today was another windy day, same situation as yesterday that I missed the fairway to bunker, as well as two 3 putts in the first nine holes. Then she adjusted her mistake very well, while still missed some putts, overall survived from the game.

Tzu-Chi LIN fired in the final round with 70 total 222, tied 9th with Hsin LEE. She had 3 birdies and 1 bogey today, including long putts 30-foot and 42-foot to hole, the only bogey was 3 putts at hole 6. Her stats was 14 GIRs, 7 fairway hit and total 30 putts.

She said the tee shots weren’t stable this week, but tried her best to keep it to the spots easy for second shot. Two long birdie putts has followed my line and pace, “Today I’d finally reached one of my goals, I didn’t play well in the first round so I tried so hard to made into top 10.” Said LIN.

Hsin LEE who tied 9th with LIN only had 4 bogeys today, she felt the start were acceptable with only 1 bogey, hoping to gain back more in the following holes. But then she had a 3 putts at hole 11 under only 3 and a half yards away, which shook her heart since then. “My putts were quite bumpy today, it also influenced my mind to the game.” Said LEE.

Amateur Yu-Chiang HOU was tied at 8th but dropped to 15th by 77, shared the place with Yu-Ju CHEN by 75.

Amateur Jo-Hua HUNG was playing stable in the first two rounds, but she made 79 today suddenly dropped to tied 19th after the final round.

This tournament was co-organized by TLPGA and LPGT (Ladies Philippine Golf Tour) for the third year; it was also 2017 TLPGA Tour’s second event and LPGT opening event.

Total prize money US$75000, winner will be awarded US$15,000 and runner-up awarded US$7500.
