2016 Party Golfers Ladies Open held at National Golf Country Club for the second round today, September 8th. Although there’s big rain during, 16-year-old Lin Tze-Han still fired a bogey free round with six birdies, total of six-under-par 66; she lead the game with eight-under-par total 136 after two rounds, two shots lead against others. This is her first time leading in a Ladies Open, tomorrow she will chase her first win as an amateur among all the professional players.

There’s seven Thai players, two Taiwan players with advantage scores chasing behind. Including 2nd place Supamas SANGCHAN total of six-under-par 138; 3rd place Panuma VITAYAKONKOMOL total of five-under par 139; 4th place Saranporn LANGKULGASETTRIN with total of 140.

The 5th place including Taiwan player Chen I-Wen and Yu Pei-Lin; Thai players Ploychompoo WIRAIRUNGRUENG, Thanuttra BOONRAKSASAT, Saraporn CHAMCHOI and Punpaka PHUNTUMABAMRUNG, total of 141 with five strokes behind but still have chances in chasing for the crown.

The Committee decided the cut-off line at six-over-par total of 150 after two rounds, 59 players(including 9 amateurs) made cut to the last round.

The final round still sequenced according to the scores, starting from 1st and 10th tee. First group start at 8:00 am, last group as leading group including Lin Tze-Han, Supamas and Panuma will tee off at 9:30 am from 1st tee. The award ceremony estimated to start at 2:00 pm.

The Rain starts from noon and get worse during, it stopped when the game finished around 2:30 pm. The committee still allowed preferred lies(one club length) in play.

16-year-old Lin Tze-Han currently sponsored by Swinging Skirts, showed a lot of her talent today, made six birdies and bogey free. Lin performed 100% fairway hits, also made great accuracy among irons which lead to three tap-in birdies. Two birdies happened at par-3 holes, 5 foot putt and 16 foot putt; laid up in two shot at one of the par-5 hole, Lin also birdied in 2 putts. Result in 34-32 this round.

Lin admitted she must be very nervous tomorrow playing in the leading group, but she will keep focus on the game; try not to care opponents’ scores. “I’ve got experience in the leading group, but I didn’t play well due to focus on other’s scores. Tomorrow I will keep my mind on the game, though I know the score boards will take my attention away.” Said Lin.

“I changed my putting method recently and lose the feeling, but I found myself back in putting therefore made a lot birdies. Hope I could keep this feeling in the final round.” Said Lin, who made a total of 26 putts today.

Supamas with 2 strokes behind, made four birdies, one bogey and one double bogey, result in 34-37. Her woods and irons are pretty good, made three birdies from par-5 holes by splendid chipping and putting skills. But she also missed four 3-foot putting for birdies; the bogey happened at hole 5 due to 3 putts; double bogey occurs at hole 12 which hit the tree on second shot and made on the green at the forth shot, missed a 5-foot putt in the end.

 “I’m don’t feel nervous at all for my final round tomorrow, I’ve got plenty of experience being in the leading group in Thai Tournament. I’ll be more aggressive tomorrow, hopefully my putting will perform better than today.” Said Supamas, who made a total of 31 putts today. She is currently second place at Thai Tour OOM, one win this year in Thailand, this is her second year at TLPGA Tour.

Panuma three shots back of Lin, currently at 3rd place, also have problem with putting, total of 33 putts today. Only one birdie and one bogey with even par today.

Saraporn as 4th place also performed 100% fairway hits today, but putting did not went will, only made two birdies and one bogey. Made 3-putt at hole 14 which end up total of 32 putts after 18 holes.

Taiwan player Chen I-Wen though tee off perfectly and her irons work better than yesterday, her chipping and putting didn’t went so well. End up with three birdies and two bogeys, total of 31 putts. “Though there’s five shots behind, there’s still chances to win the game, I will try all the best to conquer the game!” Said Chen.

Yu Pei-Lin made three birdies and one bogey today, total 70. She didn’t performed well on putting either, the irons are hard to get closer to the hole. “Due to the big rain, the green gets slower, it also effect my mood of playing. My tempo went fast and all I want is finish the game soon as possible. Therefore, I’m not so satisfied with my score today, but I will try my best tomorrow.” Said Yu.

There’s four Thai players tied for the 5th place, thanks to accurate putting, Ploychompoo, Thanuttra and Saraporn all made 68 today; also having great chance to chase the crown.

Total prize money NT 3,000,000, champion will receive NT 540,000, second place will receive NT 288,000.

In addition, Party Golfers sponsored hole-in-one prize total NT300,000 and eagle prize NT5,000 with every eagle made by Taiwan players.
